The Maxim Yankees are the 2008 Best in the West champions after mercy ruling the East L.A Dodgers 10-0 in the championship game at Stanford's Klein Stadium.  Maxim Yankee pitchers combined to throw 32 consecutive scoreless innings to close out the tournament.  The offense came alive after a 2-1 win vs. Humboldt Crabs on Friday night.  The next three games Maxim went on to outscore their opponents 22-0 and take home the championship.  This years championship also includes a bid to the 2008 NBC World Series in Wichita, KS.  Once again the Maxim Yankees will be returning to the World Series on their quest for the national championship.  This year's club was the first summer team to qualify for the World Series.   The top four finishers were:

3) Sacramento Scorch

4) Novato Knicks
